šŸš¦ Overall Operational Status
Port operations remain busy with the lead into the Christmas/New Year holiday period.  This is expected to continue for the next several weeks. We ask for your continued support in clearing imports quickly which will support capacity across the port.

ā€œIā€ crane repairs are now underway and expect to be completed over the next few weeks.

Our holiday season operating hours are available on our website here

šŸ— Container Terminal Update
There remains volatility in vessel berthing line ups due to changing schedules. Our priority remains to keep a constant demand on the berth and ensure we are prioritising 'on window' services where we can.

As per our customer update here we are constantly reviewing demand over the holiday period and into January 2025 with the upcoming extended Kiwi Rail 'block of line'. We have a number of contingencies in place from deferring any infrastructure and IT works until after January to evaluate how we optimise the yard in the event clearance and flow of containers are restricted.   As it will be a dynamic situation we seek all customers assistance over this period in moving imports off port as quickly as possible.

We encourage customers to continue to monitor our website for berthing times and cargo cut offs as these will remain dynamic for the next month.

šŸšš Multi-Cargo (MC) Operations
Container/Breakbulk berths and yard is at 70% capacity and is expected to decrease to 50% by the weekend. Car volumes in the yard are at 40% capacity and expected to increase to 90% over the weekend.
