Overall Operational Status
Overall port operations are running well.

 🏗 Container Terminal Update
A reminder that Port of Auckland’s Terminal Operating System upgrade is commencing Friday 11 April, requiring a 48-hour closure of Fergusson Terminal.  PortConnect and Containerchain services for Port of Auckland will be offline from 1500 hours, Friday 11 April to 1500 hours, Sunday 13 April.

With the Container Terminal closure over this period, followed by KiwiRail Block of Line from 12th April to 22nd April and the short weeks due to Easter and ANZAC day holidays, we will be allocating increased resource to optimise road throughput and ask that you proactively manage collection of imports over the coming weeks.

Please continue to monitor our website for any schedule changes. We appreciate your effort to ensure cargo deliveries and

collections are managed within the designated time periods.

No vessel operations, receival, or delivery of containers will be possible during this period.  Please ensure all bookings and operational requirements are completed in advance.

We encourage you to review the Customer Advisory and plan ahead to minimise disruptions and we will continue to provide information and updates where applicable.

 ⚠Safety Notice:
Driving at the port:
It is important you follow all road signs, rules and pavement markings when driving on the port. There are two speed limits at the port - 15 km/h on Operational Roadways/Fergusson Service Roadway (marked in purple on map below) and 30 km/h on Common User Roadways (marked in green on map below). Please also reduce your speed when driving near pedestrians.

STOP! We have recently seen trucks moving early when being unloaded in the empty yard. Trucks starting to drive before the empty hoist is clear. This is dangerous for truck driver and the empty hoist driver.

Breaches and repeated infringements of port driving rules may result in driver suspension
