🚦 Overall Operational Status
Overall, port operations working well. You may have seen news late last week regarding a small fire on one of our container cranes –
"I crane". This crane was already non operable and under-going maintenance. No one was on the crane at the time and no one was hurt. The crane requires a new transformer. We expect it to be operational in late January 2025.

Vessel schedules remain highly changeable due to delays offshore and weather. You can find the latest ship schedules on our website.

Marine Services Update
Operating well.

🏗 Container Terminal Update
Container throughput remains strong. "I Crane" is able to be parked at the northern most end of FX/FZ berths and we can generally work around this crane not operating, however when we have two large vessels on FX/FZ at the same time it may constrain operations. Smaller vessels are not an issue. Our Berthage Team are constantly working with Lines and our teams to ensure most optimal use of the berths and resources and minimising any delays.

We are seeing some pressure for evacuation of export empties which is adding to gate demand. Vessels arriving on window continue to be given operational priority.

🚚 Multi-Cargo (MC) Operations
Container/Breakbulk berths and yard are at 35% capacity expected to increase slightly by the end of the week. Car volume in the yard is at 20% expected to increase to 90% by the end of the week.

⚠Safety Reminder:
We encourage all truck drivers to spray paint their twist-lock/pins with bright, reflective colours e.g yellow or orange. This simple step will improve visibility (particularly at night), enhances safety, and protects equipment from unnecessary wear and tear and damage.
