Ports of Auckland has confirmed that it has received notice that lawyers acting for the Maritime Union (MUNZ local 13) have today filed several proceedings with both the Employment Court and the Employment Relations Authority relating to the Collective Bargaining process, and the proposal to contract out.
The Port will be taking the time to review the proceedings in detail.
However, Ports of Auckland is confident in the parallel processes it is working through in regard to Collective Bargaining and consultation with its employees on the contracting out proposal.
