We are delighted to have Sail GP in Auckland on 17-19 January.  We will be managing shipping around the event schedule and exclusion zones. It will be a great event and we expect the harbour will be busy on the afternoons of the race days so will be working closely with the Harbourmaster and the Sail GP event team.

🚦 Overall Operational Status
Port is operating well although we have seen some disruption to shipping schedules, the team are managing this well.

🏗 Container Terminal Update
We are continuing to see disruption to vessel schedules due to various offshore factors materialising in some blank sailings. We are continuing to monitor cargo forecasting into late January as the full impact of the Block of Line is realised.

Stakeholders are advised to continue to monitor the POAL and Kiwi Rail websites for real time updates on vessel movements and cargo receival windows.

🚚 Multi-Cargo (MC) Operations
Container/Breakbulk berths and yard are at 45% capacity and is expected to reach 50% next week.

Car volume in the yard is currently 60% and is expected to reach full capacity this week and next.

Marine Services Update
Operating well.

⚠Safety Reminder:
Please ensure that your twist locks have all been unlocked and chains have been removed from any container being lifted from your trucks to avoid any damages to your trucks and our straddles.

Please use the designated Safety Zones to perform these tasks and any other safety checks required
