Ports of Auckland will be open and operating during the holiday period. The times specified below are subject to change upon operational demands and confirmation of vessel schedules:
For rail: please check with your rail service provider as to what services will be running to and from the port. If road carriers wish to work outside of these Receival and Delivery hours, please contact the Transport Co-ordinators to discuss options.
Import demurrage:
Public Holidays are Import Demurrage free days as per our price schedule – 25th 26th 27th 28th December 2021 and 1st 2nd 3rd 4th January 2022 will be demurrage-free days. Hazardous Storage allowable time remains the same. Please contact Customer Service, if you have Dangerous Goods container queries.
Important note:
Multi-cargo R&D operating hours – the stated 'closed days' are subject to change depending upon the Shipping Line and their stevedores decision for operations. Shipping Lines will advise customers and we will send out a notification if we are advised of any changes.
Overall - the designated Statutory holidays this year result in two continuous 4 day holiday periods with limited working days in between. If cargo is not moved off port throughout the holiday period then we will suffer significant congestion across the Port which will mean vessels post the holiday period will be delayed further. We ask for ALL customers/stakeholders to do their very best please to ensure cargo flow is not hampered over this time. There will be no concessions on demurrage considered over this period of time.
