Dear Port Customer,

The Barfoot and Thompson Auckland Marathon is taking place on Sunday 30 October 2022. Road closures will be in place that will impact access to the port.

Due to the road closures in place for this event, access to the Fergusson Container Terminal and Multi-Cargo wharves will be restricted for the safety of all parties.

Vessel operations at Fergusson and Multi-Cargo wharves will not be affected.

Road Closures are scheduled to be the same as previous years. To help you plan in advance, the detailed map of road closures in the CBD area is attached.

Fergusson R&D will be closed from 0300 hours Sunday and re-open at 1500 hours Sunday.

Multi Cargo R&D will be closed from 0700 hours Sunday with limited truck access via Tangihua Street from1100 to 1500 hours Sunday.

Fergusson
The last truck for Fergusson will be processed at 0200 hours (0130 hour bookings) and the first truck will be processed at 1500 hours. 

Multi Cargo
will be limited truck access to Multi Cargo and delays may be experienced as access will be determined by the Auckland Race Traffic controller on the ground.

If there are specific requirements for urgent containers or R&D services outside of these hours, please contact the Transport Co-ordinators.
